Alright folks, this is an important one. We urge you to do what you can to support this crucially important campaign.
The Methow Headwaters Campaign hit another major milestone when the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) announced a public meeting. With the announcement of the public meeting, the BLM re-opened its comment period. Deadline for comments is November 13th, and we’re looking to organize a final push of positive comments in support of the withdrawal.

Environmental conservation enables nature to get on with the job of keeping living and non-living things. Healthy biodiversity means clean air and fresh water. It enhances the ability to recover more quickly from natural disasters and the capacity to adapt more easily to a changing climate. This is what environmental conservation is all about. A healthy environment is essential to healthy living. We humans can also benefit from protecting wildlife because a lot of medicines can be derived from the chemicals produced by animals and plants.
